This video surveys SHANGDA’s automatic straightening equipment, showing how one control concept scales across the range: automatic loading, probe or laser measurement of runout, closed-loop press correction and re-verification — whether the workpiece is a small motor shaft or a multi-meter transmission shaft. The same operator interface and reporting run across the family, so plants standardizing on SHANGDA equipment train staff once and move them between machines.
The family covers diameters from Ø5 to 600 mm and lengths from 100 mm to 12 m, with short shafts checked at 2–3 points and long beds carrying 5–8 or more probes. Precision runs from general 0.10–0.30 mm/m work to automotive 0.02–0.05 mm and precision parts at 0.02 mm or better, at 20–90 seconds per cycle. Our overview of hydraulic vs CNC vs fully automatic options explains the tiers.
Machines are configured to the workpiece: gantry loaders, laser stations and sag compensation are added where the part demands them, and one worker can oversee several fully automatic units. Explore the platforms in the automatic machine range.
