The video shows a standard automatic machine running mid-shift: a chain conveyor stages blanks, rollers lift each shaft into measuring position, and after correction the parts step out onto an outfeed lane while the machine reaches straight back for the next blank. Changeover between two part numbers is a recipe selection — the supports, press points and limits all move or update to the stored program.
The machine essentially runs the skilled operator's checklist by itself, which is why one person can cover 1–2 CNC machines or multiple automatic lines. That attendant stages stock, reads the runout log and handles exceptions; the routine of scanning, pressing and verifying is software-driven. The routine in question is broken down in our straightening process walkthrough.
It fits heat-treatment shops and turning cells that want to straighten straight from the furnace or the lathe, on parts like motor shafts, transmission input shafts and tubular stabilizer bars. Integration with upstream and downstream equipment is part of the build rather than an afterthought, and commissioning, operator training and remote diagnostics follow each installation.
