This video focuses on roundness: our automatic straightening machine for tube corrects bend while holding ovality within tolerance. Cross-arranged rollers rotate and flex the tube as it feeds through, and pressure is set so the cross section stays round — critical for tubes that will later be threaded, flared, welded or fitted with seals. The video includes a split view of the working zone and the roundness readout, so viewers can watch ovality stay inside tolerance as the tube feeds through the machine from start to finish.
In-process probes check 2–3 points on short parts and 5+ points on long tubes, comparing every reading against the CNC target. Cycles run 20–90 seconds per tube across the Ø5–600 mm diameter and 100 mm–12 m length range. General fabrications hold 0.10–0.30 mm/m straightness, while precision tube work achieves 0.02–0.05 mm.
The machine serves tube makers supplying hydraulic and pneumatic cylinder barrels, automotive exhaust and structural tubing, agricultural equipment and precision roller makers — applications where a bent or out-of-round tube leaks, vibrates or simply will not assemble.
